Galatians 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
How then if we have been crucified with Christ and are born again as a new creation in Christ and have forsaken all for Christ can we not operate like Christ.
When Paul wrote "I have been crucified with Christ" It is evident that what Paul desires doesn’t matter anymore. The only goal is to glorify Christ in his life.
If you no longer live but it is Christ that live within you.
And your spouse long longer lives but it is Christ that lives with them.
Then it should be Christ cooperating with Christ at all times.
It’s not what I want but what Christ want.
So married couples should proclaim:
My Spouse and I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer My spouse and I who live, but Christ that lives in us; and the life which we now live as one in the flesh we will live by faith in Christ, who loved us and gave Himself for us.
